All About Me

My name is Kelly Conger and this is my ninth year teaching for the Swan Valley School District. I am so proud to be a Viking! I spent the first six years of my career as a third grade teacher, and I am now extremely excited to be a part of the physical education program for grades K-5 for the third year. I graduated from Hemlock High School in 1997 and went on to pursue a teaching degree at Michigan State University. Following my completion of that program I received a Masters degree from Saginaw Valley State University, and have also completed over 30 hours of training through Learner's Edge. Fitness has always been an important aspect of my life. I stay active by being involved in a variety of sports and activities such as basketball, volleyball, running, kickboxing, weight lifting, biking, plyometrics, Pure Barre, and much more. I also love to travel and hike. I have traveled throughout most of the United States, Canada, and Mexico. A few years ago I also spent time backpacking through Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. I spent my honeymoon backpacking through Yellowstone National Park and Jackson, Wyoming. While traveling I always like to try new things. I have been whitewater rafting, skydiving, canyoning, parasailing, hot air ballooning, and swimming with dolphins. I hope to continue to add to my list of adventures in the future. My life revolves around my wonderful family and friends. I have been married to my husband Bryan for 4 years and we have a beautiful two year old daughter, Kinsley Joy. We are thrilled to be welcoming our second baby girl this October! I am so lucky to have such great family and friends!
