I have been teaching for the past 39 years, all in the Swan Valley School District. I've taught K-6th physical education, 2nd and 4th grades at Havens Elementary, Middle School physical education and health education. I also taught at Shields in aTransition Room, and First grade. I have loved every grade level I have taught and would not trade any of my experiences for anything. I have coached basketball, volleyball and track for Swan Valley School District at the Middle School and High School. Besides teacing first grade, I am also involved in technology and am one of the technology directors in the district. I am also the webmaster for the Swan Valley School District. You can view the districts' website at: www.swanvalley.k12.mi.us
I love baseball and go to a different stadium every year to watch the Braves, my favorite team.
I enjoy sports, especially baseball. The Atlanta Braves are my favorite team. "GO BRAVES!!!" Chipper Jones is my favorite Braves player. I had the opportunity to see the Braves play the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley field, what a thrill! In 2004, I went to visit the Braves when they played the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park, again, what a thrill! In 2005 I traveled to St. Louis, Missouri and went to two baseball games cheering the Braves all the way. The Braves Played the Phillies and I had the pleasure to see two games in Philadelphia. In 2008 I went to Toronto Canada to watch the Braves play the Toronto Blue Jays. This summer I went to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to watch the Braves play the Brewers. The Braves took the series 2 games out of three. Time will tell where I will travel next to see my Braves!
I also enjoy working with computers, gardening and any outside activities. I have built two decks in my backyard. I have a pond in my back yard and am now raising 24 fish, some Koi and some gold fish. I have also built a three seasons room where I enjoy the outdoors and can keep an eye on the frogs and fish in the pond.

Tad lives in the pond and has stayed for three seasons now. I raised him as a tadpole. That is how he got his name.
