My name is Lori VanTol Kreszowski, and I am your child's fifth grade teacher. I am looking forward to an exciting, productive year working with you and your child. Because I will be spending each day with your child, I want to take this opportunity to tell you a few things about myself, both personally and professionally.

I have been a teacher in the Swan Valley School District at R.B. Havens Elementary for eighteen years. I received my Bachelor of Science in Education from Central Michigan University and my Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Saginaw Valley State University.  My husband, Doug, and I have two beautiful children, Katrina and Derek.

My mission is to provide a positive learning environment. I will promote academic, social and emotional growth so that my students will become responsible, self-sufficient, and productive members of our society. I want them to develop learning skills that will lead them to be lifelong learners. Throughout my years of teaching, I have become committed to the importance of parent involvement in a student's education. I firmly believe that your child receives the best education possible when you and I work together as a team. Every Friday you will receive a newsletter, which will summarize what we will be studying in class the following week. Please feel free to contact me with questions or concerns anytime.
