Welcome,

My name is Kathy York and I teach Special Education at Shields Elementary School. My classroom currently services students that are in young fives through third grade.

I am a lifelong member of the Swan Valley School System. I attended Shields Elementary, Swan Valley Middle School and graduated in 1978 from Swan Valley High School. In the fall of 1983, I started teaching at Swan Valley High School and transferred to Shields in 1992.

I am the proud parent of three; two daughters and a son. All of my children are also Swan Valley graduates.
